Description
The Megaflo Eco SystemReady 210SB is a 210-litre indirect unvented hot water cylinder designed specifically for system boiler installations. It combines the performance of the Megaflo Eco range with factory-fitted plumbing and wiring, helping reduce installation time while providing a consistently neat and organised installation.
Designed for mains-pressure domestic hot water, the SystemReady 210SB features a high-grade duplex stainless steel inner vessel, 60mm CFC/HCFC-free polyurethane foam insulation and an internal floating baffle expansion vessel built into the cylinder shell. It is factory fitted with key electrical, safety and control components, including a 3kW immersion heater, T&P valve, tundish, wiring centre and 22mm 2-port motorised valve.

The Megaflo Eco SystemReady 210SB is purpose-built for system boiler installations. Factory-fitted plumbing and wiring helps reduce the amount of component preparation required during installation while providing an organised cylinder arrangement.
Factory-Fitted Components
The cylinder is supplied with a range of key components already fitted and wired. These include 1 × 3kW immersion heater with cylinder thermostat and high-limit overheat cut-out, a temperature and pressure relief valve, 15/22mm tundish, wiring centre and 22mm 2-port motorised valve.
- Immersion heater: 1 × 3kW with thermal controls, pre-wired.
- T&P relief valve: Set at 90°C / 10 bar with T&P insulation kit.
- Tundish: 15/22mm, factory fitted.
- Wiring centre: Factory fitted and ready for connection.
- 2-port motorised valve: 22mm, pre-fitted and wired.
Internal Floating Baffle Expansion System
An internal floating baffle expansion vessel is built into the cylinder shell. This means a separate external expansion vessel is not required for the cylinder's expansion arrangement, helping maintain a cleaner installation.
Supplied Cold Water Inlet Control Kit
The cold water inlet control kit is supplied with the cylinder for the installer to fit on site. The kit comprises the components required for the specified cold water inlet arrangement:
- 3 bar (0.3 MPa) pressure reducing valve.
- 8 bar (0.8 MPa) pressure relief valve.
- ¼-turn isolating valve.
- Line strainer.
- Non-return valve.
- Drain valve.
The supplied pressure relief valve components are specified to BS EN 1567, BS EN 1491 and EN 13959.
Installer Connections
The installer connects the required services on site, including the cold mains supply via the supplied inlet control kit, hot water outlet to the distribution pipework, primary flow and return from the system boiler, tundish discharge pipe to a compliant termination point and a 230V electrical supply to the wiring centre.

The SystemReady 210SB provides a stated maximum flow of 76 litres per minute at 3 bar and 45 litres per minute at 1 bar. The 210-litre storage capacity provides a substantial domestic hot water store for system boiler installations.
Heat-Up & Recovery Performance
Under the specified test conditions of 15 l/min flow, 80°C primary temperature and a 15°C–60°C temperature increase, the stated heat-up time is 28 minutes. The recovery time for a 70% draw-off is stated as 19 minutes.
Duplex Stainless Steel & Insulation
The inner vessel is manufactured from high-grade duplex stainless steel. The cylinder is insulated using 60mm CFC/HCFC-free polyurethane foam, with a stated standing heat loss of 1.42 kWh per 24 hours and an ErP rating of B.
