The McAlpine S13-ISON Blue Compression Ring is a 32mm metric sealing ring designed for use in compression waste fittings where European 32mm pipes are involved. This component is commonly fitted to the adjustable leg of the McAlpine ASA10 adjustable basin trap (please see diagram in the images to see where it goes), as well as the McAlpine S28L-ISO adapter, which connects 32mm European metric waste pipes to British 1¼" solvent-weld fittings.
Manufactured from durable elastomer, this blue-coloured ring ensures a tight, reliable seal for metric pipework and helps prevent leaks in mixed-standard plumbing systems — a common scenario when fitting European bath or basin wastes from brands like Geberit, Kaldewei, or Bette in UK systems.
