Description
The Baxi MainEco Compact 30 is the bigger-flow version of Baxi’s cupboard-fit combi: 30kW of hot water output at 12.2 l/min with 20kW to the heating circuit, in the same 700 × 390 × 285mm casing. Stainless steel heat exchanger, brass hydraulics and a front-facing pressure gauge, at 29kg on the wall.
Main is now Main by Baxi. Same boiler, new sales code 7906993 (formerly Main code 7714161).

A three to four bedroom home on mains gas with steady hot water demand. Same cupboard-fit casing as the 25kW, 5mm side clearances.

Upgrading an undersized combi where the shower runs lukewarm — the 12.2 l/min flow holds a strong single shower with taps in play.
Works with / replaces
Pairs with the Baxi OpenTherm RF thermostat and accepts the Baxi Multifit pre-plumb jig for like-for-like swaps of older Main and Baxi combis.
When not to choose this
Two bathrooms in regular simultaneous use will still outrun any combi — that job wants the MainEco Compact System with an unvented cylinder. Natural gas only; no LPG version. Flue kit is not included.
