The Baxi MainEco Compact 25 is a cupboard-fit natural gas combi delivering 25kW of hot water output and 20kW to the heating circuit — the right size for a two to three bedroom home with one bathroom. It carries a stainless steel heat exchanger and brass hydraulics, weighs just 29kg on the wall and puts the pressure gauge on the front where you can see it.
Main is now Main by Baxi. Same boiler, new sales code 7906992 (formerly Main code 7714519).

Where it goes
A two to three bedroom home on mains gas with one bathroom. The 700 × 390 × 285mm casing is a genuine kitchen-cupboard fit with 5mm side clearances.

Works with / replaces
Pairs with the Baxi OpenTherm RF thermostat for modulating control and accepts the Baxi Multifit pre-plumb jig, making it a like-for-like swap for an older Main or Baxi combi.
When not to choose this
One outlet at a time: at 10.2 l/min you will notice the drop if two showers run together. For a busier household step up to the 30kW model or pair a system boiler with a cylinder. Natural gas only — there is no LPG version.
