The Grant Mag One DUO Magnetic Filter (VM01DUO) is designed to protect domestic central heating systems from the damaging effects of circulating sludge, rust and other debris. Suitable for installation with new heating systems or as a retrofit to existing installations, this versatile system filter is compatible with traditional gas and oil boilers, as well as air source heat pumps.
Featuring a powerful 12,000 gauss neodymium magnet and a 500-micron mesh gauze, the Mag One DUO captures both magnetic and non-ferrous debris circulating in system water. Its filtration design directs circulated water through the filter cartridge to help remove unwanted contaminants and protect important heating system components.
The Grant Mag One DUO provides system protection for boilers with a heating output of up to 36kW and heat pump systems up to 10kW. For larger systems, two Mag One DUO filters can be installed in a parallel circuit. It is also relevant to Grant G1 Installer installations, where fitting a suitable magnetic filter is a requirement for activating the extended G1 guarantee on eligible Grant appliances, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
