This 30mm chrome radiator valve extension has a 1/2" male thread at one end and a 1/2" female thread at the other. It adds 30mm of reach and can also extend a 1/2" female thread that has been left too far recessed. This is useful on concealed 1/2" female backplates or wall outlets for shower arms and shower-hose outlets that finish too far behind the tiled surface. The extension brings the threaded connection forward. Check the required length and male/female thread arrangement before fitting.
