Description
Designed by Vaillant, the Advance boiler protection kit is a compact magnetite removal system that helps separate very small particles from the boiler water. It uses a 12,000-gauss magnet for strong magnetite removal. The 22mm variant fits horizontally onto the pipework, making it suitable for tighter spaces, and it is intended to be installed close to the bottom of the boiler for a more discreet solution.
Because the magnet uses an existing boiler isolation valve and has a low magnet volume, the drain-off is shorter, meaning less water needs to be drained when removing magnetite from the filter. Maintenance is quick (only a few seconds) and designed to be less messy than a standard filter solution. The system provides no shut-off valves or bypass requirements and maintains a constant low pressure drop.
