What's Included in the Box?
- 1 × Worcester Bosch EasyControl Black Smart Thermostat
- 3 × RT10-RFV Smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) heads
Installation and Compatibility
The EasyControl thermostat connects to the boiler using a 2-core cable. Wireless boiler connection is also possible using the optional Worcester Bosch RF Key, which is sold separately. The thermostat connects to the home internet via Wi-Fi for app-based control.
The EasyControl is designed for Worcester Bosch boilers. It can also be connected to non-Worcester Bosch boilers as a standard wired or wireless thermostat, but full app functionality and ErP optimisation require a compatible Worcester Bosch appliance.
The included Smart TRVs are compatible with standard M30 × 1.5mm valve bodies or other valve bodies when used with the supplied adapters. The Smart TRVs pair directly with the EasyControl, so no separate hub or bridge is required.
Important installation note:
Do not fit a Smart TRV to a radiator in the same room as the EasyControl wall thermostat. Having both controls in the same room can cause conflicting temperature readings and may result in the heating running continuously. Install the Smart TRVs in other rooms.
